The Arch - Voodoo

The Arch
I like this dive because there is always lots to see, especially at the Arch.
The depth at the Arch is approx 9-11 metres and approximately 100 metres out from the shore.
The best conditions are with a westerly wind blowing or nice calm seas.

You will almost always see schools of Yellowtail Pike and Yellowtail Scad. Lots of White Ears, Stripeys, Old Wives and Mado with the occasional spotting of Blind Sharks, Cuttlefish, Moray Eels, Porcupine Fish, Bull Rays and the occasional Wobbegong. In winter you will see plenty of Port Jackson and Crested Horn Sharks.

Directions

Head towards Kurnell and turn right at Sir Joseph Banks Drive. Follow the road all the way to the end and enter the single lane road and go all the way until you reach the car park.

Head towards the entry point as shown on the right, entry point is in a nice little bay area where you exit the bay between the 3 rocks which provide protection the bay.
Once through the rocks head 210 degrees (looking towards Jibbon Point) and keep an eye out for the gutters. Drop down and follow the gutters until you reach the Arch
